Our CONNECT – Energy Meter is a turnkey solution built to allow for the measuring and detailed analysis of power loads. Able to monitor power distribution units, generators or individual climate units, our rapid deployment energy meter pack consists of:

• kWh Energy Analyser Meter
• Flexible Univeral Rogowski CT’s
• LoRaWan – MODBUS converter and transmitter

Using flexible Rogowski CT’s that are secured around the incoming supply cabling you want to monitor, this easy-to-use system removes the need to power down units and takes less than 20 minutes to set-up. Encased in a rugged weather resistant enclosure, our CONNECT – Energy Meters wirelessly communicate performance data to our El-Björn CONNECT gateway units, providing easy to view data to the online El-Björn CONNECT BMS portal. Your personalised El-Björn CONNECT BMS online portal gives you to see the full performance of your connected El-Björn products and can be configured to deliver custom reports, as well as alert you of exceeding usage parameters, trip events or loss of communication.

Application

Designed for use in arduous environments such as construction sites, industrial areas, and event spaces. Utilising LoRaWAN communications allows our Energy meters to be deployed in areas such as deep basements with no mobile internet signal.

For projects with power constraints, schedule based load shedding can be achieved by combining El-Björn CONNECT – Energy Meters and TF EBC heating units, allowing the power output of the machines to be automatically turned down during peak energy hours and turned up during off-peak hours depending on the site requirements.
