Timber Framed Building

Client Specification

El-Björn were asked to consult Timber Framed Building project which had stalled on its construction. During this downtime a solution was required to reduce humidity levels within the enclosed building and maintain them at a level specific level. Ensuring a consistent humidity level of the building was integral to prevent the long-term damage that can occur to timber-built structures if impregnated with moisture, as well as a high importance in being able to monitor and react to humidity levels in real time and proving a recorded achieve of maintained humidity levels.

Project Outcome

For this solution, we advised to use a combination of our Electric Heater Units (to circulate and heat the surrounding air) and Dehumidification Units (to draw the excess moisture out of the air and surrounding materials), all centrally controlled by our El-Björn CONNECT temporary Building Management System. At its core, the El-Björn CONNECT Building Management System empowers users with precise control over heating systems while simultaneously monitoring and recording temperature and humidity levels. This real-time data is not just informative but instrumental in ensuring that the desired humidity levels are consistently met and maintained.
